Single Sign-On (SSO) is one of the important authentication solutions that adds security and convenience by allowing users to log on to various applications using a single login. It eliminates password fatigue, decreases IT support costs, and prevents security threats like phishing and credential stuffing. Organizations gain simplified identity management, reduced user provisioning time, and enhanced regulatory compliance. But SSO also poses risks if a hacked credential provides wide access. To reduce these risks, organizations need to implement Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), use role-based access controls (RBAC), and install real-time monitoring security to identify and stop unauthorized access.
